What's Happening At Grace?
Join us for our services this Sunday!
Announcements For Sunday, October 15th:
Do you have a desire to serve the Lord and others as a Christian? This morning, during our Sunday School period, we will continue our series on the Spiritual Gifts of Christians!
500 years ago, a spiritual movement began to sweep through the established church of that time! Through men like Ulrich Zwingli of Switzerland, God brought the clear truths of the Gospel back to the forefront of Christian living. Though these Reformers only sought to "reform" the church with these truths, in fact, they were truths that transformed! Be sure to come back tonight, for our Evening Service, as we continue our October series on "The Great Transformation!"
Dave & Jonalie have been missionaries & friends of ours, here at Grace, for many years! Their current ministry is at Camp Bighorn in Montana, where they serve as the Directors of Operations. In order to encourage them, we are collecting a Love Offering for them. This Sunday will be the last day for our collection as a Church, but you can still pray for and send additional gifts to them as the Lord leads you.
If you are involved in the Choir, please be sure to stay for rehearsal tonight immediately following our Evening Service. Also, please be in prayer for our Choir, as we prepare for our upcoming Christmas special!
This month, our Children’s Sunday School Class is learning about loving others as ourselves! To help them show love to others we will be collecting items for the Samaritan Purse’s “Operation Christmas Child” – And we would like everyone to join them! Through October, there will be several shoe boxes downstairs to fill with gifts for children in other countries. These children will also be given the Gospel with these gifts. For a list of suggested gifts, please see the list on the back bulletin board, or see Phyllis.
The "Daily Bread" devotional for the next three months (September, October, November), is now available for your use! You are welcome to pick up as many as you can use and hand out to others!
