Our theme for 2024 is: Amazing Grace!
‘Amazing Grace, How Sweet The Sound!’ So begins one of the most well-known hymns in the English language! But though its words and tune can be recognized throughout the world, the truths it conveys are all too often ignored – even by Christians. But along with this hymn, written by John Newton back in 1779, the English-speaking church has been blessed with an abundant supply of hymns that are steeped in deep, biblical doctrine that would stir our souls, if we truly knew them and would let them! In Colossians 3:16, we are told to ‘teach and admonish one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs.’ This will be our theme and goal for 2024. We will seek to use the messages of our music – through our ‘Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs’ – to learn more about and grow in the ‘Amazing Grace’ of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Join with us this New Year as often as you can!
