Our theme for 2026 is: The Lord Gave The Word!
2026 marks the 500th Anniversary of the first translation and publication of the entire New Testament from Greek into English! By God's grace, this was accomplished by William Tyndale, who sought to make God's Word accessible to everyone – even to the “boy that driveth the plow!” Even today, many English translations of the Bible are greatly influenced by his work, for which he was exiled from his home and eventually burned at the stake. To commemorate this important achievement, our theme for this New Year will be: The Lord Gave The Word! Throughout this year, we will be learning more about how we got our Bibles and why we “ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard” from God's most precious Word! |
