Our theme for 2023 is: Victory In Jesus!
We live in a world of war and conflict. Jesus Himself told us that it would be this way: Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars! However, political and external conflict is not the only kind of warfare there is. The greater warfare involves spiritual and internal conflicts which war against the soul! For faithful Christians, this conflict is even more intense, as we are called to fight the good fight of faith against our enemies: this world, our flesh, and the Devil. Is there any help or hope when we are engaged in these daily battles? According to 1 Corinthians 15:57, we can thank God, who "Giveth Us The Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ!" It is Jesus who provides real Victory over our spiritual enemies -- Victory that is rooted in the past, can be experienced in the present, and will be forever realized in the future! This will be our theme for 2023: Victory In Jesus! Nearly every service throughout this New Year will complement this theme in some way, so be sure to join us as often as you can!
