Take 20 Minutes Each Day To Read Through God's Word In 2026!
Join us as we “Take 20" minutes a day (or so) to read through the Bible in one year!
For 2026, we will be reading through both the Old Testament and the New Testament simultaneously in their Biblical order. This has proven to be one of the most popular and useful reading plans within our church.
This means that each day, you will be reading just a few chapters in the Old Testament; and each week day, you will be reading a single chapter in the New Testament. The Psalms will be reserved for the weekends, to help focus our minds and hearts for worship on the Lord's Day!
Remember to spend some time thinking about and praying about what you have read! As Thomas Watson once said: “A Christian without meditation is like a solider without arms, or a workman without tools. Without meditation the truths of God will not stay with us; the heart is hard, and the memory is slippery, and without meditation all is lost.”
We trust that the Lord will bless the reading of His Word to your heart this year, more than ever before, as you “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly!” (Colossians 3:16)
