Take 20 Minutes Each Day To Read Through God's Word In 2022
Join us as we “Take 20" minutes a day (or so) to read through the Bible in one year!
This year, we will be reading through the Bible according to its Historical order.
This means that, when it comes to the Old Testament, we will be reading the Bible that Jesus read in the order Jesus would have read it!
This is the same order that the Hebrew Bible is still read in Jewish synagogues today - known as the Tanakh - which begins with the Torah (the 5 Books of the Law), continues with the Prophets (the Nevi'im - including the Former & Latter Prophets), and ends with the Collected Writings (the Ketuvim).
The New Testament will be read in the approximate order in which it was written, beginning with what many believe to be the earliest epistle: James.
This year, there are no assigned readings on Sundays, not only to give you time to catch-up (if necessary), but also to allow you to meditate on the things you've read and heard through the messages delivered on the Lord's Day! We’d love for you to join us for our own Sunday services, either in person or online, if you do not have a home church!
We trust that the Lord will bless the reading of His Word to your heart this year, more than ever before, as you “let the word of Christ dwell in you richly!” (Colossians 3:16)
